I hang myself up also in more precarious positions! Too bad I langsung tidak photogenic. Spoil atmosphere only. So change into pretty girl to charm judges :P
EWO! Suprised to see you venture into err.. "uncharted territories" like here :-)
I did try something like that of what you proposed but the effect wasn't as good... she was seated, swinging legs but didn't smile nor throw back her head... The situation was tense because a lot of passing motorists kept honking at us...
We weren't sure whether we broke any rules climbing on the tree like that. But at the very end of the 'photoshoot' we didn't care anymore and she started smiling again, luckily! And I got the picture above!
A lot more photos would be usable if... I were more familiar dealing with high contrast situations.
I'm equally bad at directing the model... This photo was selected out of nearly 50.
Thanks for the advice! :-) Will try it should the opportunity arise!
ps- EWO you play with MACRO? the eyes on your blog seem to be taken with such!
your photography experience is pretty typical la, especially for beginners. As you get more experienced, your composition, reading of lighting conditions, hit-miss ratio and model directions will improve.
Things will also improve as you get more sophisticated machines who can handle metering better.
and the pix on my banner is taken from stock xchange, hehehe!
Nice try!Portrait shooting is always "hard", but it is really fun!
*Background not clean. It is a little messy with all those trees. Imagine how nice if it is a pond/sea as the background. *I suggest you some post processing like soft light layer or perhaps lower down the temperature
Hi YC! Just noticed your footprints here! Hmmm.... I'll attempt your advice If I get the chance and mood to do another portrait!
Actually I dun really like taking photos of people haha.. but I'll try to improve anyways! Went to a portrait taking class that day stressing highlights and shadows... learnt a bit..hopefully cukup pakai! :-)
soft light and Temperature I tried tweaking using Picasa 3... after trial and error I settled with this... maybe I'll play around with the same photo later when I get to use my own PC again.
Its like you read my mind! You appear to understand so much about this, such as you wrote the guide in it or something. I believe that you just could do with some % to power the message house a bit, but other than that, this is great blog.
I'm really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A few of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any ideas to help fix this problem?
u jahat a u hang ruhui on top of the tree......haha nice photo wor....can make postcard!:P
